So very fun! One of the better films I’ve seen in a while. This was what I wished Knives Out would have been (minus the c— word). A great story line with epic twists and turns paired with an impressive cast that entertains at every turn, with every line. Cinematography was on point too with the intro being a piece of art. Love a good Guy Ritchie film.
CHARACTERS: Mickey Pearson (Matthew McConaughey) – the king pin Ray (Charlie Hunnam) – the right hand man Rosalind Pearson (Michelle Dockery) – the car enthusiast wife Matthew (Jeremy Strong) – the buyer Coach (Colin Farrell) – the father figure protector Dry Eye (Henry Golding) – the young and reckless dragon Lord George (Tom Wu) – the seasoned dragon Fletcher (Hugh Grant) – the story teller
SUMMARY: “A British drug lord tries to sell off his highly profitable empire to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires.” – IMDB Summary
Overall, I definitely recommend! If you don’t like cursing (specifically the c— word) DO NOT WATCH IT. Sadly that’s the one thing I wish they had cut back on. It is a thing in the region they are in and it fades into the background after a while.
